A truly Superb Mantle clock in Walnut and with the Mozart Chimes.

The ´Belecanto´ by Kieninger

Superb quality bracket clock with a dark walnut case with mother-of-pearl inlays and gold plated brass detail. A stunning example of great case craftmenship along with a unique Mozart inspired chiming mechanism.

Features include:

The elaborately crafted Walnut case with burl walnut and with bevelled crystal glass in the door, the side panels and the roof to allow a clear view on the polished movement and its nest of nine bells in action when it chimes. Door and column caps are gold plated brass. Exclusive REC03 8 day triple chime mechansism with a high quality Swiss 11 jewelled platform escapement. Dial mounted radial chime selectors permit the selection of the world renowned melodies from Mozart - the serenade in G Major "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" ??(K. 525, originated in 1787) and the aria of Papageno "The Bird Catcher´s" Aria from the opera "The Magic Flute" (K. 620) and of course the famous Westminster melody.

Noble moon dial with date and milled and gold plated deco elements. Automatic night time strike and chime silencing between 10pm-7.15am. Automatic beat adjustment to acheive a perfectly even tick.

Highly decorated dial with a moving moon dial featuring a view of Salzburg. Key drawer built in to the base.
